WB Yeats  Hazelwood Songs

Picture
This website and its companion CD of the same name is my tribute to the lyrical poetry of WB Yeats to celebrate the 150th anniversary of his birth.  I have taken a selection of these poems which I set to music and also recite.
From what I hear, Yeats was not keen on his poetry being put to music.  You can listen to the songs and make up your own mind
On this project, I worked with Ronan McCauley, (www.ronan.ie) who acted as my arranger, recording engineer,  multi-instrumentalist and backing vocalist.  The poems were recorded by Gerry Horan of Contact Studio. The tracks were mastered by Antimo Puca of apstudios.net
